Notification of misunderstanding.

Hi all,

I believe there is some misunderstanding on the latest e-mail that you had received that mentioned about the withdrawal of team from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

For your information, the e-mail was not sent by any team manager from UMP. The person who sent the e-mail is no longer participate in any activities that involved by any teams from UMP. There are two teams from UMP which are registered to the event. They are UMP SAE Team and SEM-MECHAPRO Team.

In fact, both teams are still working on completing the car manufacturing.

To make it clear, I like to inform you the team managers from both team. They are:

New member application result.

Since the new member application has closed on 21 November, 2009, 35 applications were submitted to the Registrar. All applications were evaluated by the team board members and the final result has been confirmed to select 13 new members for the trial session that is will be held on 21-25 December, 2009. The trial session is also combined with CATIA and Solidworks training classes.

Autodesk Innovative Car Design Challenge

Autodesk has announce Autodesk Innovative Car Design Challenge for all registered team for Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2010.

Autodesk is offering early bird incentive of US$200 to first 20 team submissions, beginning from 1 Nov, 1200hrs GMT+8.

The eventual winner will receive US$800.
